About Kakarot website project

Kakarot is an (zk)-Ethereum Virtual Machine implementation written in Cairo. Kakarot is Ethereum compatible, i.e. all existing smart contracts, developer tools and wallets work out-of-the-box on Kakarot. It's been open source from day one. Soon available on Starknet L2 and L3x. In my role, I contributed to the design and development of the Kakarot website, a gateway to Starknet's decentralized potential.

Project Objective

The core objective was to articulate Kakarot's pivotal role within Starknet and attract a diverse audience interested in decentralized solutions. The project unfolded through the following phases:

1. Brand Identity Development: Defined and crafted Kakarot's visual identity, aligning it with the principles and vision of Starknet's decentralized future.
2. UI Design: Developed a comprehensive design system, including mood boards, wireframes, style guides, and prototypes, to create a visually compelling website.
3. Web Development: Implemented the Content Management System (CMS) and structured pages, integrating animations and interactive elements for a seamless user interface.
4. SEO Optimization: Executed strategies to optimize the website for search engines and enhancing visibility.

This project resulted in the creation of the Kakarot.org website, a dynamic platform showcasing the potential of decentralized solutions within the Starknet ecosystem. It serves as a hub for innovation, attracting a diverse audience interested in the decentralized future envisioned by Kakarot and Starknet.
